Nature's Classroom and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
As part of our mission to help supplement your in-class curriculum, Nature's Classroom's science programming aligns with the NGSS for grades 3-8. We have assembled a document outlining how our classes and activities meet these standards.
Affordability
We believe that Nature's Classroom is an important experience for all students. Because of this, we will do our best to work with each group to make this trip financially possible. To cover the cost, schools often use funds reserved for educational field trips, state STEM initiatives, and grants or donations from local businesses and nature organizations. Fundraising events and sales are also very helpful. There are many ways to make Nature's Classroom affordable to families and we are happy to help!
