It is with a very heavy heart that we announce we will not be open for camp this summer. After reviewing the Massachusetts Child and Youth Serving Programs Reopen Approach: Minimum Requirements for Health and Safety and speaking with our local health inspector, it is undeniably clear that opening Life-Tech Ventures this summer is unachievable under these guidelines. In our 40 years of operating LTV, our goal has always been to create a safe and fun environment for campers to learn and grow as individuals. The current threat of COVID-19 and the resulting restrictions create an unavoidable impediment to reaching these goals. We are deeply saddened by this announcement, but are already looking forward to next summer.
Thank you for your patience and continued support. We hope to see you all on the other side of this!

On May 18, Governor Baker outlined the four phase plan for a safe reopening of Massachusetts. Summer camps are listed under phase two, which will begin no earlier than June 8. At this time, the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and the Department of Public Health are still developing health and safety standards for summer camps.
We are hopeful that we will be able to host camp at Life-Tech Ventures beginning July 5 as planned, but are realistic that camp will have to operate differently to ensure the safety of all. As we await further information from state officials, we are working hard to evaluate all aspects of our camp program and make adjustments to adhere to current health guidelines.
Thank you for your continued support and patience as you wait with us while we look for further guidance. We will continue to post updates to our website and will reach out to registered campers when official announcements are made.

Life-Tech Ventures recognizes the value of summer camps in fostering independence, character, and a love for nature. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is increasingly important to us that we hold camp this year, and are doing everything in our power to do so safely.
We are looking forward to hosting summer camp when authorities agree it is safe, and with implementation of any and all new health and safety measures. Currently, we are still planning to hold camp from July 5- August 8, 2020.
We appreciate you waiting with us as we look for further guidance from state officials. We will reach out to registered campers directly with any changes to our schedule or daily operations, and will continue to post updates to our website.
Thank you for your continued support. We value all of our campers and hope you and your families are staying safe.
