Our 700 acres of forest, pond, meadow, river, and bog communities are a living laboratory where students and teachers discover the wonders of ecology and geology that simply can’t be found in books.
Sargent
Center's outdoor classroom brings science to life. Exploration, inquiry,
and discovery are all part of our scientific field investigations. Building
community begins with our unique setting, facilities, and staff. Nature's Classroom expert instructors are here to guide the way. Living
and learning at Sargent Center helps students gain a powerful sense of
connection with each other while discovering they can make a difference in
the world.
Our school program guests stay in comfortable, winterized accommodations with
modern bathrooms. Students have adult supervision at all times. The food service professionals in our dining hall serve three delicious meals and an afternoon fruit snack daily. Along with a nutritious main course, meals feature bread, fruit, vegetables, as well as salad bar and soup of the day. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available.
