DAY CAMP PROGRAM

2008 DATES & FEES

For campers who live in the local area we offer a day camp program similar to the residential program. Our day camp is Monday through Friday and the fee is $185 per week. The day program will allow you to drop your child off between 8:30 and 8:45 A.M. for a fun-filled day of activities. Children need to bring their own lunch with them.

*Early arrival/departure can be arranged on an individual basis.

Recreational Time may include arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, sports or time to simply chat with friends.

 

 

Natural Science: The entire natural world is waiting to be discovered - forests, ponds & streams. Explore the mysteries of our planet.

Physical Science: Enter an amazing adventure of discovery! Find out how things work and why. Launch rockets, use lasers and experiment with chemicals.

Computers: Experience the world of technology through computers! Whether you're a beginner or an old pro, you can benefit from an individualized guide through the world of computers.

Fine Arts: Explore your artistic potential with individualized instruction in the world of fine arts. Draw, paint and discover new avenues of artistic expression.

Sports: Develop athletic potential in Sports Core where you can learn techniques of soccer, basketball, baseball, rugby, ultimate frisbee and more.

Performing Arts: Perform plays and musicals with Life-Tech Ventures and/or learn about designing and building sets, lighting, props, costumes and make-up. To be in a production your child must attend the week(s) prior to performance night.

Robotics: (Minimum Age 10): Build and operate computer-controlled robots. Due to high requests, Robotics will be limited initially to one week per camper.

PERFORMING ARTS DATES:
(Your child must be signed up for the entire block of weeks listed below in order to participate in the Performing Arts Core. The performance of the play is on the evening of the last day of the block (Friday night). Parents and other guests are invited to attend.)

Block 1:  June 23 - June 27  (one week program)

Block 2:  June 30 - July 4 
(one week program)

Block 3:  July 7 - July 18 
(two week program)

Block 4:  July 21 - August 1 
(two week program)

Block 5:  August 4 - August 15 
(two week program)
